Día 4 de la movilidad

 

Back at CPIA, on Thursday morning, we attended a technology class taught in Italian, and we understood it perfectly! It was a very enriching experience that showed us how language is no barrier when there is motivation and a desire to learn.

After the theoretical explanations about the operation of a drone and an interesting overview of the history of Sicily and its close connection with Mount Etna, we went outside to see the drone in action. It was a very dynamic and engaging activity that perfectly combined technology, culture, and hands-on learning.

De regreso al CPIA, el jueves por la mañana asistimos a una clase de tecnología impartida en italiano, ¡y la entendimos perfectamente! Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora que nos permitió comprobar cómo el idioma no es una barrera cuando hay motivación y ganas de aprender.

Tras las explicaciones teóricas sobre el funcionamiento de un dron y una interesante introducción a la historia de Sicilia y su estrecha relación con el volcán Etna, salimos al exterior para ver el dron en acción. Una actividad muy dinámica y motivadora que combinó tecnología, cultura y aprendizaje práctico de una forma excepcional.

About to begin a class session that turned out to be truly fascinating, where history, geology, geography, and technology were combined in an engaging and enriching way. A complete learning experience that allowed us to learn in a practical, dynamic, and highly motivating manner.

A punto de comenzar una sesión de clase que resultó verdaderamente apasionante, en la que se combinaron de una forma fascinante la historia, la geología, la geografía y la tecnología. Una experiencia educativa completa que nos permitió aprender de manera práctica, dinámica y muy motivadora.

The Technology class began with an interesting explanation about Sicily, the volcanic activity of Mount Etna, and its influence on the surrounding environment. Through this introduction, we were able to understand how the volcano has shaped not only the landscape, but also the architecture and historical buildings across different parts of the island.

It was a fascinating way to connect science, history, and technology, capturing the students’ attention from the very beginning and greatly enriching the learning experience. 

Inicio de la clase de Tecnología, que comenzó con una interesante explicación sobre Sicilia, la actividad volcánica del Etna y su influencia en el entorno. A través de esta introducción, pudimos comprender cómo el volcán ha marcado no solo el paisaje, sino también la arquitectura y los edificios históricos de las distintas zonas de la isla.

Una forma apasionante de conectar ciencia, historia y tecnología, que despertó el interés del alumnado desde el primer momento y enriqueció enormemente la experiencia educativa.

Back in the classroom, reviewing the videos and photos taken by the drone in the school courtyard, reliving the experience and analysing the results of an activity that perfectly combined technology, learning, and teamwork.

De vuelta al aula, comprobando las grabaciones y fotografías tomadas por el dron en el patio del centro, reviviendo la experiencia y analizando los resultados de una actividad que combinó tecnología, aprendizaje y trabajo en equipo de una forma muy motivadora.

That afternoon we spent some time in Syracuse, enjoying another beautiful and historic place. During the train journey, Estefanía entertained us by singing several songs, creating a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere that made the trip even more enjoyable.

La tarde de aquel día la pasamos en Siracusa, disfrutando de una nueva visita llena de historia y encanto. Durante el trayecto en tren, Estefanía nos alegró el viaje cantándonos varias canciones, creando un ambiente distendido y muy especial que hizo el trayecto aún más agradable.

Video recorded at the Archimedes and Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Syracuse, where we had the opportunity to review and learn about Physics and Engineering in a fascinating and hands-on way, guided by the legacy of two great geniuses of history.

The visit was even more meaningful knowing that Archimedes was born and lived in Syracuse, which made the experience even more special and enriching. A true journey through science, history, and innovation.

Strolling through the streets of Syracuse, enjoying its history, atmosphere, and Mediterranean charm. A relaxed walk to take in every corner of a city full of culture and beauty.

Paseo por las calles de Siracusa, disfrutando de su historia, su ambiente y su encanto mediterráneo. Un recorrido tranquilo para saborear cada rincón de una ciudad llena de cultura y belleza.

A truly unique place that perfectly reflects the city’s rich history and the layers of civilizations that have shaped it over time. Being there felt like stepping back in time and experiencing the greatness of the past firsthand.

On the train leaving Syracuse, heading back after another intense and memorable day in Sicily. Tired but happy, we reflected on everything we had experienced, aware that we were adding yet another unforgettable chapter to our Erasmus+ adventure. 

En el tren de regreso desde Siracusa, poniendo rumbo a nuestro alojamiento tras otra jornada intensa y llena de emociones en Sicilia. Cansados, pero felices, repasábamos todo lo vivido durante el día, conscientes de estar sumando recuerdos inolvidables a esta gran aventura Erasmus+.

We ended the day having dinner after a pleasant walk near the theatre, sharing impressions, laughter, and memories from an intense and enriching day. A perfect ending to another unforgettable day in Sicily.

Cerramos el día cenando tras un agradable paseo junto al Teatro, compartiendo impresiones, risas y recuerdos de una jornada intensa y llena de experiencias. Un final perfecto para otro día inolvidable en Sicilia.
