As soon as we arrived in Sicily, we went straight to CPIA Catania 2. Before heading to our accommodation, we wanted to visit the facilities of what would become our host adult education centre for the week.It was a very special first contact, full of excitement and curiosity, and the moment when we truly began to feel part of the educational community that would welcome us during this Erasmus+ experience. A perfect start to an unforgettable adventure.
Nada más llegar a Sicilia, nos dirigimos directamente al CPIA Catania 2. Antes incluso de ir a nuestros alojamientos, quisimos conocer las instalaciones del que sería nuestro centro de referencia durante toda la semana. Fue un primer contacto muy especial, cargado de ilusión y curiosidad, en el que empezamos a sentirnos parte de la comunidad educativa que nos iba a acoger durante esta experiencia Erasmus+. Un comienzo perfecto para una aventura que prometía ser inolvidable.
The President of CPIA Catania 2, Rita Vitaliti, welcomed us warmly in her office. It was a very special meeting that made us feel at home from the very beginning and perfectly reflected the welcoming and collaborative spirit that characterised our entire stay.
La presidenta del CPIA Catania 2, Rita Vitaliti, nos recibió amablemente en su despacho, dándonos la bienvenida de manera cercana y cordial. Un encuentro muy especial que nos hizo sentir desde el primer momento como en casa y que reflejó el espíritu de acogida y colaboración que ha marcado toda nuestra estancia.
Getting to know the facilities of CPIA Catania 2, exploring its spaces and discovering the environment where we would carry out our activities during the mobility. A first contact that helped us feel quickly integrated and familiar with the centre that was welcoming us.
Conociendo las instalaciones del CPIA Catania 2, recorriendo sus espacios y descubriendo el entorno en el que desarrollaríamos nuestra actividad durante la movilidad. Un primer acercamiento que nos permitió sentirnos rápidamente integrados y conocer de cerca el funcionamiento del centro que nos acogía.
The local authorities welcomed us warmly, showing their support and closeness from the very beginning. A gesture that highlighted the importance of this educational exchange and the value of international cooperation within the Erasmus+ programme.

Enjoying the aperitif and sharing a relaxed moment after learning first-hand how more than 22 adult education centres located around Mount Etna are managed from CPIA Catania 2. A very enriching experience that allowed us to understand the scope of the project and the excellent work carried out in this region.

After spending the morning at CPIA Catania 2, we headed to our accommodation, already feeling that we had experienced an intense and enriching first contact. A new stage of the journey was beginning, full of excitement and anticipation for everything that awaited us in Sicily.

Learning Italian in the apartment, singing songs and practising the language in a fun and spontaneous way at our accommodation. A relaxed moment that strengthened group bonds and allowed us to keep learning even outside the classroom.
Aprendiendo italiano en el apartamento, entonando canciones y practicando el idioma de una forma divertida y espontánea en nuestros alojamientos. Un momento distendido que reforzó la convivencia y nos permitió seguir aprendiendo incluso fuera del aula.
Afternoon walk through Catania, enjoying its lively atmosphere, its vibrant streets, and the special light that fills the city at the end of the day. A perfect moment to continue discovering its essence and let ourselves be carried away by its charm.
Paseo por Catania durante la tarde, disfrutando de su ambiente, sus calles llenas de vida y la luz tan especial que envuelve la ciudad a última hora del día. Un momento perfecto para seguir descubriendo su esencia y dejarse llevar por su encanto.
We stopped to have a snack, as on the first day we hadn’t been able to go for lunch after the generous aperitif offered to us at CPIA Catania 2. A much-needed break to recharge our energy and continue enjoying the afternoon in Catania with good spirits and great company.
Paramos a merendar algo, ya que el primer día no pudimos ir a comer después del generoso aperitivo que nos ofrecieron en el CPIA Catania 2. Un pequeño descanso muy necesario para recargar energías y seguir disfrutando de la tarde en Catania con buen ánimo y mejor compañía.
